Hello again! It’s my favourite day of the week – Sunday! It’s a day of rest for you lazy sods, but for us priests it’s our busiest day. It’s a chance to catch up on the latest community goss, have a few cheeky red wines, and stick a few footy trades on in-between singing hymms. So, onto the trading for today…
Yesterday went quite well, but I’m going to cover that in a lot more detail in my Monday/Tuesday night “Confessions” section of my blog, where I’ll also detail how I’ve got on today, and possibly even Monday’s match if I’ve decided to trade it (although looking at the 2 teams involved, I’m not too keen, but I’ll take a look at the stats before totally dismissing it). The confessions section of my blog is something I’ll be looking at doing after that particular gameweek has finished. This will be done every Monday or Tuesday. It’ll be a chance for me to come clean with all my trades undertaken. I’ll be looking at identifying where my trades went well, where they went badly, and what I can do to maximise/minimise these good/bad trades, and what I’ll be doing going forward.
Looking at today’s games I’ll probably only look at trading the big game – Man City vs Man Utd. As you can imagine, with Man Utd having the nickname The Red Devils, this team isn’t very well liked among the priesthood. But I will try and not let my emotions cloud my judgement. Having looked at my stats, I’ll probably be looking at loading heavily on a Man City win. I’m always a bit weary of doing this, and whilst United have improved vastly under their new manager, I feel as though City will be too strong for them today. I’ll be looking at the correct scores of 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, whilst hedging the AOH correct scoreline too.
Good luck with your trades if you’re doing any. Hope to see a few of you in church today. And I’ll probably speak to you all again tomorrow night at some point in the Confessions section of the blog. Amen, my betting brethren.
