Using the Gods to beat the odds.

Friday Night Mass – 21st Oct ’22

Well, technically it should be ‘too frecking early on a Saturday morning mass’, but we’ll just keep with the ‘Friday Night Mass’ theme. Apologies for the late post but things kind of got in the way.

So, without further ado, lets have a look at the Saturday fixtures and see if there’s anything that grabs our fancy:

Forest vs Liverpool
With Liverpool’s odds being so low I’d be very tempted to lay them. Especially as they seem prone to letting the opposition score first, although in the last two matches they have managed to address this. If I was going for the correct scoreline, I’d opt for 0-2, 1-2, and hedge the scorelines 0-1 and AOA.

Man City vs Brighton
Looking at my stats the standout scoreline to punt is AOH, followed by 2-0. I’d probably go for this, especially as City will be wanting to make amends for their recent loss. Brighton seem to have lost their mojo since Potter left, and I can’t see them providing any threat here either.

Everton vs Palace
Consulting the stats, 1-1 seems to be the way to go. Apart from that, I’d probably be tempted to hedge 2-1 and 1-2, but it does seem as though this will be a low-scoring affair.

Chelsea vs Man Utd
This looks like another tight game. The stats are telling me 1-1, yet again. So I’ll go with that, with a view to hedge 2-1 and 1-2 too.

Well that’s it for another mass. I’ll relook at these games tomorrow before I finalise my selections. Take it easy my betting brethren, and may the good Lord our God bless your selections. Amen.
