Using the Gods to beat the odds.

Friday Night Mass – 28th Oct ’22

Hello brothers and sisters! Welcome to yet another Friday night mass where I will be taking you through some of my trade selections from the Premier League fixtures this weekend. Rightio – here’s my picks from the Saturday games that I’ll probably be look at trading:

Leicester vs Man City
I think this trade is relatively straight forward. I’ll be opting for 0-2, 1-3, and finally AOA (any other away). I’m probably going to hedge the 0-1 and 1-2 scoreline too. Initially when I looked at this game without doing any prior research, I just assumed it would be a high scoring victory for Man City. But looking at my Bible (stats book) I’ve done a bit of re-evaluating and this might not be the easy ride that I initially thought it might have been. Hence the couple of low scoring scorelines in my selections.

Bournemouth vs Spurs
I watched Bournemouth against West Ham on Monday night and I didn’t think much of them whatsoever, but I am expecting them to be difficult to breakdown with them being at home for this fixture. I also don’t see Spurs ripping them apart either, as they’ve not exactly been prolific away from home, so I’m possibly going to go for a low-scoring game. So with that in mind I’ll be opting for the scorelines 1-1, 0-2, and 1-2, whilst hedging the scorelines 0-1 and AOA.

Liverpool vs Leeds
AOH is the standout selection when consulting my Bible, but I don’t see there being much value in selecting this scoreline (currently 3.4 on Betfair). Mainly because Liverpool haven’t been their usual self and have been suffering from injuries. It’ll be interesting to see what the line-up is going to be, and I think this will determine whether or not I will back the AOH scoreline. There’s even the possibility that I could even lay the AOH scoreline!

If I do go for AOA, then I will hedge it rather than go all out for it. I’ll also hedge the 1-0 scoreline, whilst going outright on 2-0, 2-1, and 3-1.

Hopefully I’ll have better luck in my trades than I did last weekend. I’ll be revisiting the suggested scorelines for each game I’ve mentioned, just to check and doublecheck these trades and see if the odds movements changes my initial outlook. Good luck if you are trading my betting brethren. It’s tough out there, but with determination and a bit of luck we can do this.
