Using the Gods to beat the odds.

The Sunday Sermon – 13th Nov ’22

It’s going to be a very quick sermon today as there are only two matches being played before the Premier League breaks for the World Cup, and I only really fancy trading one of them, and even then I’m not too sure about that…

Fulham vs Man Utd
My Bible is giving me mixed messages. I’m getting suggestions on one chart to bet on Man Utd, and then another chart to side with Fulham. My bias is also telling me to go with United, even if they are the devil’s club <SPITS>. So with this in mind I’ll opt to hedge the scorelines 0-0, 0-1, 1-1, whilst betting outright on the scorelines 0-2, 1-2, and 2-1. These scorelines are all included in the same ‘dutch’ bet, which for an outlay of £4.63, you can get a return of £9.93. I’m going to revisit this game before kick-off, to see if I go ahead with the bet or not once the team’s starting eleven have been revealed.

Good luck if you’re trading. And may the Lord be with you. Always.
