Using the Gods to beat the odds.

I’m back. I never went away.

Hello, hello, hello! Happy New Year and all the trimmings. I hope you all had a good Christmas and spent time well with your family and friends. I was going to post something a bit earlier than this, but the festivities seemed to have got the better of me. But now I’m back in a routine again, and the Premier League is back up and running, hopefully I’ll be posting a lot more regularly…so long as another World Cup doesn’t pop it’s ugly head up between now and the end of the season!

So, what have I been up to? Well, since the Premier League has restarted, I’ve been keeping my hand in trading but I’ve been keeping my stakes low. My reasoning for this is that I believe the teams will still need a couple of weeks to find their feet again after the small break in the footballing season. I’ve also made a start on betting on my Super6 selections, as when I’ve analysed my winning selections and their respective odds, I would have been quite profitable. I traded my Super6 selections for the first week of the return of the Premier League, but gave it a miss the week after having not done enough analysis on the matches due to time constraints. I find it’s better to not bet at all if you don’t have confidence in your selections. Otherwise, you’re just giving your hard-earned money away.

Well, that’s really it for now. I’ll pop up a post tomorrow detailing my profit and loss for the period 26th December to today. All in all, there was a profit of £8.06. I think this still means I’m in the red for my trading journey so far, but only by a £1 or so. So a good start to the new year, and here’s hoping 2023 is a green year. Right – speak tomorrow, and may the Lord be with you. Always.
