Hello peeps! Hope you’ve had a good time trading. I’ve had a bit of a quiet one this weekend, as I tend not to trade FA Cup games unless it’s a game between two Premier League clubs, or I’m quietly confident on the result. This weekend I only traded the Man Utd vs Reading game. As you can imagine I weighted my trades towards a Man Utd win and they duly complied. So this set me up for a nice £10+ win. I did also trade the Nottingham Forest vs Man Utd game in midweek which brought home a nice little green too of around £6. So greens all around really, which is great to see. I did mention in my previous blog post that I was going to lay Liverpool in the Sunday FA Cup game, but at the odds that they were it didn’t scream value to me, so I left it well alone. What I should have done was lay Liverpool when they went 1-0 up, but looking at how they were playing they looked quite comfortable until the Brighton goal, which had it’s own bit of fortune about it. After that I didn’t bother as the odds went back to how they were and the value was gone again.
So, what is there to confess? What could I have done better for the two trades that I did undertake? I don’t think there is that much to say, really. I possibly could have traded a bit more, but there wasn’t anything that I was very confident with. I possibly could have traded the correct score in the Brighton vs Liverpool match rather than just considering laying Liverpool, but I didn’t really feel confident in that either. So, like I mentioned in my previous blog post, I did the right thing and left things well alone. Otherwise, I would have been trading for trading’s sake. So I’m quite happy with trading less, as it meant more (green).
I’ll post my results up here tomorrow night, and I’ll update my trading P&L on my journey so far. Heck, I may even go all fancy and chuck a graph in! Speak to you tomorrow my followers, and may the Lord be with you. Always.
