Hello my church going brethren. Here’s the update on my results of my journey so far. For week 13 it was basically break even. I earned £9.80 and lost £10. A net loss of 20p! It was a step back, but only the smallest of steps back. Hardly noticeable in the grand scheme of things. So here is my P&L for week 13:

And here is a table of my trading journey so far, with a graph showing my cumulative total over the last 13 weeks:

As you can see, there really isn’t too much to be gained from the graph. It’s on the right side of the horizontal line, which is great, but we could do with that upwards motion being a lot steeper! Hopefully, as time goes by the graph will give us a clearer picture of how I’m progressing as a trader. So far it all seems a bit…’meh!’
And here’s the thing. I’ve given this a bit of thought, and if I’m to make my trading journey worthwhile then I need to take a few more calculated risks. I don’t feel as though I’m making as much progress as I would have liked. It all feels a little too safe at the moment, so I’m going to be trying a few new things out. So my results are going to be a lot more up and down over the next month or so, but that’s something that I’ve prepared myself for. So don’t be too startled if there are massive dips in my performance, as this is all part of the plan. If all goes according to plan there will be big peaks too! I should hopefully be seeing a more substantial upswing in my results after a month, but certainly after two. Fingers crossed.
So, with that, I’m looking forward to the weekend, and hopefully some trading opportunities present themselves and I can take advantage of them. Hope you all have some luck too if you’re trading. And may the Lord be with you. Always!
