Hello again my loyal followers. I thought week 15 was good, but week 16 just blew the tits off it! I managed to make a decent profit of £284.67. This was again down to 2 fire and forget trades that netted me £156 and £95. It was only when I investigated the £95 trade further, that I noticed that not all of my stake was taken, so the net profit could have been £60 greater had the full stake been matched. That’s a lesson learnt for next time – always ensure the full stake is taken. There’s no real big losses for week 16, only £5, and I’ll take that every week if I could. But the law of average says that I’ll be due a loss very soon, I’ll just keep riding the crest of this wave until I do. Here’s a breakdown of my trades for week 16:

I did point out the 0-1 scoreline in my Friday blog post for the Leicester vs Arsenal game. So I’m glad that came in. Hopefully some of you nicely profited from that too. I also pointed out the AOA scoreline for the Bournemouth vs Man City game. The profit wasn’t as big for this scoreline as it was low odds. I also mentioned about laying Liverpool – a game I decided to leave well alone due to me being out and about and away from my laptop. I wasn’t in a place where I could take my laptop either, so there was no way I could bring it along with me, unlike last week. And besides, it wasn’t the right sort of trade. It wasn’t a fire and forget trade, and it would have required constant monitoring which I wasn’t prepared to do. Instead, I decided to take on the Leeds vs Southampton match, and one of the trades for this game came in giving me a lovely green.
Here’s an updated table of my weekly profit and loss amounts on my trading journey so far:

Good to see two consistently big numbers up there in the last two weeks. I’d like to see it continue but I think I’ll be hard pushed to make that happen. I’ll be giving it my best shot though. Here the graph of my net profit and loss over my trading journey so far:

I guess that the graph isn’t really telling us much, apart from the fact that I’ve had two fantastic weeks! I can’t wait to see what this looks like as time progresses. I’d like to see how this looks 2 years down the line from now, and hopefully I’ll still be doing this blog by then and telling you constantly about how much green I made for whatever week I’m reporting on.
Well, onto this week. I’ll be honest with you, I’m kind of not looking forward to putting any trades on, as I can feel that I’m due a loss and I want to revel in this winning feeling a bit longer. But I can’t let that fear get a hold of me. I just need to trade my strategy and not think about the losers too much, otherwise I’ll never progress. I need to think of it as two steps forward and one step back. As long as I’m moving in a forward motion that’s all that matters. There’s going to be losers, I know that. I just need to deal with this feeling and move on to trading what’s in front of me. I’ve got a few trades I’m looking at tomorrow. I’m looking at the Arsenal vs Everton game, in particular the correct scores of 1-0, 2-0, and AOH. Also, for the United vs West Ham game I’ll be looking at similar trades, with maybe a 2-1 and 1-1 chucked in there too. I’ll see nearer to kick off exactly what bets I’ll be looking at putting on.
That’s it from me folks. I hope you’ve taken some positivity from the results I’m getting. I certainly have. I wish you luck tomorrow if you’re trading any games. And may the Lord be with you. Always.
