Sunday Mass – A Hit And A Miss

Morning my fellow worshippers! I hope we’ve all recovered from our Saturday trading sessions and looking forward to what Sunday has to offer. I’ll be honest with you, I was a little stressed yesterday as yet again I had to do my trading in the car as I was out and about for the 3pm kick-offs, so needs must. Trading in the car isn’t ideal as it’s a very cramped space and I like to make notes and what not before I place my trades. But beggars can’t be choosers I guess. Anyway, I’m glad I did as I earned myself £72 (approximately) which I’m more than happy with.

It wasn’t all plain sailing though. With the early goal in the Arsenal game, two of my trades for that particular game were given the kiss of death before I could even get my hopes up. Because of that, and the fact I was trading in a cramped space, I found myself getting a little stressed. So in future, if I know I’m going to be away from my desk then I’ll try and be in an environment where I’ll be less stressed e.g. a coffee shop, or at least some place that offers decent elbowroom and somewhere I can rest my laptop. Thankfully the Villa vs Crystal Palace game got me out of the red and into the green. I also managed to trial out a new system I may be looking at taking forward. I’m only doing £1 trades at the moment but I’m going to see where this takes me. The first trial trade on Saturday came in, but already I can see trading this method is going to cause me stress. But if it works, it works. And I’ll be more than happy to reap the financial rewards.

Right – onto my Sunday trades…

…to be honest, I’m not really seeing too much to trade. I’m looking at the Liverpool vs Man Utd game and I honesty believe this could go any way. United are in fine form, and Liverpool seem to be getting back to their best, but aren’t quite there yet. But besides all this, it’s a derby (of sorts) and anything can happen between two great teams that share a great rivalry. So if I’m totally honest I think I’ll stay away from trading this game.

For the Forest vs Everton game this is another tricky game to call. I don’t see Everton scoring many goals due to their severe lack of fire power. Calvin Lewin may be on the bench, so that could change things, but I can only see a home win here for Forest, or possibly a draw. I’ll go for the following correct scorelines:

Forest vs Everton
1-0
2-0
1-1
2-1
1-2 (hedge)
0-0 (hedge)

If things change and I don’t decide to trade either of these games, then I will definitely look at trialling my new strategy instead. There’s no point wasting an opportunity.

If you are trading any of these game then I wish you the best of luck. And may the Lord be with you. Always.
