I never had time to post my potential trades for Saturday’s games on Friday night, but they went kind of alright. Basically I had a miss followed by a hit, similar to last weekend. I made a small green but not too much. I traded the Bournemouth vs Liverpool, Spurs vs Forest, and Palace vs City games. For the Liverpool game I decided not to lay them for once, the main reason being is me thinking that Liverpool were coming back into form, and getting back to playing some of their better football, especially after beating Man Utd 7-0 the weekend previously. I went strongly with a Liverpool win with some insurance trades in there just in case (thankfully). As you know Bournemouth scored first, and so I decided to take the small loss not long after.
For the Spurs vs Forest game I put some fire and forget trades in which never came off (£75 down), but the fire and forget trades for the Palace vs City did (£98 up!). The difference between the two gave me a small green, and with the loss from the Liverpool game the small green became even smaller. I’m happy with the green (approx. £15), but obviously disappointed it wasn’t more.
Sunday’s Games
I’m out and about today so I’m really, really unsure what to do. I’m out with the family at a theme park, so not sure whether to take my laptop out with me so I can trade, or just to leave it at home. I’d love to take it, but then again it’ll be a distraction from enjoying myself 100% with the family, and questions will be asked by family members (which I can’t be arsed with at this early stage of my trading career). The upside is that it should mean I’ll only be 5 minutes away, possibly 10minutes tops, and I can get some trading done. The downside is that even though it’s only for a short period of time, it’s still time away from the family on our day out. If I do take my laptop then I’ll quickly see if any games fit the fire and forget trade criteria, and then put the trades on. After consulting the stats, these are the trades I’m probably looking at doing for each game tomorrow:
Man Utd vs Southampton:
AOH
2-0
1-0
Fulham vs Arsenal:
0-2
AOA
0-1
West Ham vs Villa (although this game is touch and go as to whether I’ll trade it, I’ll see nearer the time):
1-0
1-1
0-0
I’ll try and post something on Monday/Tuesday night about how I got on, and whether or not I did take the laptop to the theme park. Good luck if you are trading. And remember, may the Lord be with you. Always!
