Hello my flock, I hope you’re all doing well. It’s a return to Premier League action this weekend, so I’m gearing up for it by getting my stats ready and earmarking potential trades. There’s nothing that jumps out to me that I’m feeling very confident in. The City vs Liverpool game could be anything, but I’m leaning more towards a City win. Just checking the odds, and at 1.63 is it really worth the risk with those odds being so low? There doesn’t seem to be any value in it whatsoever. Looking at the Liverpool odds of 5.9, that to me seems to be screaming value. I may even take that on, or lay the City win, because even though I can’t really see Liverpool winning, I could see them possibly getting a draw out of this game.

The only other match that interests me is the Arsenal vs Leeds game. I can see Arsenal winning, but it could be an interesting game to watch. Leeds with their new coach seemed to have put a couple of good games together, so I can’t see Arsenal having it all their own way. I’m not going to commit to any particular correct scores just yet, but it’s certainly a game I’ve got pencilled in to trade.

The only other match that I’ve got my eye on is the Brighton vs Brentford game, and that’s only because my stats have highlighted this game as one to trade. But it’s still only Wednesday, so these games could all change with players coming back from internationals and the managers yet to give their conferences and give us any interesting team news. Just thought I’d touch base with you guys and give you an idea of what’s coming up.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I’m out again on Saturday afternoon, but this time it’s for a little drinky-poos with some friends. This means I’ll be away from the laptop as I’m not lugging that around the pubs. So, everyone seems to be meeting up at 2pm, but I’ve told them I’ll only be out at 3pm just so I can see if there are any fire-and-forget trades that may take my fancy. Then there will only be the Chelsea game that I’ll miss out on which kicks off at 5:30pm, but that’s not a game I’ll be looking to manually trade anyway as I see it being a very difficult game to call.
