Results For Week 25

The boy is back! Back on the scene and back in the green. A good week was had this week, as I made a £267 profit. It was much needed and also gave me a boost in my confidence. It was a bit of a bad week towards the end, but I can’t complain. So long as it was a good green I wasn’t particularly bothered. In was a step in the right direction, and that’s what mattered. Here is the breakdown of my Week 25 trades:

The majority of the trades were just straight fire-and-forget trades, but I did try to trade the Man United match and didn’t get much joy from that. I decided to trade out after 65 mins and accept the loss. The Brighton vs Everton match was the real surprise, and my trades were pretty much dead in the water after Everton scored their second goal. I didn’t expect the Man City vs Leeds game to be so close either. Someone mentioned to me that there would be some weird scorelines coming up towards the end of the season, and they might be right. I’ve even contemplated staying away from doing any trading, but I think I’ll just be a bit more careful with my selections instead. Worth bearing in mind if you’re trading yourself.

Anyway, here’s an update on my current weekly P&L, and how Week 25 affected my current journey so far:

The good thing is that I’m back on possibly making it above the £1K mark before the season ends. There’s three game weeks left before the end of the season, so getting over the £1K mark should be a good possibility. I’m personally hoping to get around the £1,200 mark at the end of the season, but anything over £1,000 and I’ll be happy. They say you shouldn’t set targets, but f**k it. I think it’s good to set goals and targets, but what you shouldn’t do is do daft things in order to achieve them. Accept your losses when necessary, and try and maximise your profits where possible.

For the weekend ahead, I’m looking at trading the Man Utd vs Wolves game on Saturday, with an eye on the Everton vs Man City too. I’ll be looking at The Bible before I trade these games for definite. I’d like to say I’d trade the Monday game of Leicester vs Liverpool too, but again, a lot depends on what the stats say and also how the teams line up. If you are trading yourself this weekend, then may the Lord be with you. Always.
