Results For Week 27

Results for Week 27 were….s**t! Really s**t. Without doubt, the worse week I’ve had whilst on my trading journey. Total losses for the week amounted to £465. And weirdly, I’m not too bothered by it as much as I should be. I think this is mainly because I traded what I should have traded when the stats told me to trade, despite all my losses mounting up. Hopefully this will bode well for when my trading stakes increase in the near future. I didn’t take any unnecessary risks, and I also think that for every brilliant week (£583 in Week 21) there’s going to be a similar losses (this week). That’s just variance, and it just so happened to fall in this week. The thing is, I just need to keep doing what I’m doing. Overall for this season I’m in profit. Yeah – not as much as I would like to be, but I’m still in profit. Here’s a breakdown of my trades for Week 27:

Looking at the trades, a lot of them were fire-and-forget trades which just didn’t pay off. My only disappointment is with the Man City vs Madrid trades. I just didn’t call those predictions right, and I probably should have got out of the trades early doors when it was obvious that Man City were on fire that night and my trades were not going the way I expected. So apart from that, if I just keep doing what I’m doing then I should be alright. I will mention that a friend did say to me to maybe stay away from trading when it’s getting to the end of the season, which I’m aware of the reasons why, but I’ll probably need to look at the stats to see if there is any merit in what they are saying. I should have done this before the penultimate game of the season I guess, and I’ll probably need to do it before the last round of games. Depending on what the stats say will depend on whether I trade the last round of games or not. I don’t want to be experiencing any more reds like I did this last week.

Anyway, here’s how Week 27 went when compared to other game weeks, and how my trading journey is going so far:

Hopefully I’ll be able to turn that downward curve back up for the final game of the season. I was hoping to hit a grand before the end of the season, but after the week I’ve had I’ve decided to reset my target to getting over £500. What a difference a week makes.

I’ll hopefully do a blog post closer to the last round of PL games, and if you are trading any games yourself, then may the Lord be with you, always!
