Results For Week 28

Well, it was the final weekend of games of the Premier League. It’s sad to see another league season over, but there’s still another couple of more games to play before I call it a day on the trading front for another season. These games are the FA Cup final and the European Cup final. With encountering a small loss this weekend, I’m looking at these games to try and claw myself back over the £500 mark. Here’s the breakdown of my Week 28 trades, which seen me end up with a near £60 red:

Week 28 was a tad disappointing. I was hoping for a turnaround in my fortunes, but it wasn’t to be. A couple of big losses (-£75 each) for my fire-and-forget trades, alongside a big winner (£132.30). Unfortunately that meant a small loss overall. But yes, lets take the positives – the losing streak is at an end. So there’s that! But I’m still hitting the losses. And I think one of the big reasons for this is the fact that I’ve stopped doing my manual trading. Well, bad luck (I’ll post something about my incredible bad luck later this week) AND I’ve stopped doing my manual trading. There was a number of games this weekend that I could have, and should have traded. And if I did, I’m quite certain that I would have posted a good green rather than a red. The reason I didn’t manually trade was due to having family members over and I was not able to focus 100% on my trades. I’m starting to get a little peeved off with not being able to concentrate 100% on my trades for whatever reason, so next season I’ll be looking at putting time aside and making sure it doesn’t get swallowed up by some other activity. Sacrifices need to be made. Here’s how Week 28 compares to my other weekly trades, and how it has affected my journey so far:

As you can see, in terms of losses, Week 28 wasn’t exactly massive. I can probably cope with those kind of losses (although they need to be kept to a minimum). I’m now approximately £150 away from my revised target. Hopefully I can get that back in my next two trades, but it’s highly unlikely as I don’t think I’ll be doing any fire-and-forget trades, and if I’m manually trading the matches, I haven’t made any where near that kind of profit from that kind of trading. For both matches I’ll probably be weighting my trades heavily towards a Man City victory, with a few safety bets to cover my bottom should things go South. Good luck if you are also trading these matches, and may the Lord be with you. Always!
