Hello my flock! Another really good week with a total profit of just over £130. Combined with Week 19’s profit of £234, means that over the last 2 weeks I’ve had a profit of £368. This is in stark contrast to the loss of £272 for the 3 week period before this. So, here’s a snapshot of how the £130 profit was made:

Looking at some of these trades, there were a couple that netted me £100+ (not in this screenshot), which is great. But I would say that there were several wins of around the £20-£40 mark that helped contribute massively towards the final profit. ‘Slow and steady wins the race’ as they say.

There isn’t much else to say about the trades really. But what I would say is that I’ve not been keeping too much of an eye on my trades when they’ve been nearing full-time. So, I’ve not been putting on any counter-trade for those trades that could be lost entirely if another goal is scored. I have noticed that this has cost me for one particular trade (the Man City vs Villa game, when there was a late winner for City), but I’m not sure exactly if this has cost me overall, or if it means I would have posted an even bigger profit. I’m pretty sure by covering my trades this will save me money in the long term, but it’s something I’ll need to sit down and look at properly when I’ve got time.

Great to see the graph sloping upwards. And the way that it is going, the big question that needs to be asked is…am I going to post a profit at the end of the season?!?! A few weeks ago I wouldn’t have entertained it. But now, I’m beginning to think that there’s a slight possibility. It would be a great achievement if I was able to post a green at the end of the season, and certainly make it all worthwhile. It still would be worthwhile even if I post a red, but to have something to show for it would be even better. I’m not going to get carried away, but it’s certainly seems like there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

Which brings me onto this week. From Friday, we’re going to be away as a family for a long weekend. I’m going to take my laptop and try to trade if I can, but I’m not going to be overly precious if I don’t manage to get some trades on. Hopefully I can, but I need to realise that the important aspect is being away with the family.
