Hello! I’m a football trader at the (relative) start of my trading journey. This is a blog following that journey. There will be highs, there will be lows. There will be using the Lord’s name in vain. But hopefully, and most of all, there will be progress. I want to grow this blog and hopefully make some money trading football. Please comment and provide any feedback on my posts. Any pointers as to where I might be going wrong, or how I could make bigger profits, would be very much appreciated. Enjoy!

  1. Can I ask where you picked up your trading knowledge as we all got to learn somewhere

    1. Hello Craig. Thank you very much for you comment. I’ve picked up my trading knowledge after a good few years spent in the market. The last 2 seasons I’ve taken a more professional attitude towards my trading, and starting trading using £2 stakes. Yes it wasn’t a great deal of money, but it made me focus a lot more and ensured I took things a lot more seriously than if I just paper traded my trades. I do feel that one of the best ways to learn is to expose yourself to the market and gain your experience from there. I’ve read a book by Matthew Syed called Bounce, and in there it mentions that if you do 10,000 hours in something then you become an expert. Now I’m not saying you need to put 10,000 hours in, but like most things, the more hours you put in, the more experience you get. I feel this is certainly the case with me.

      2. Not a problem Craig, and thank you. I would like to also point you in the direction of someone who I feel is very genuine, and helped focus my mind and to take my trading a lot more seriously, especially during COVID time. It’s FTS Income. He does a podcast, which I listened to whenever I could. Yes he rambles on about some things, but when he talks trading he’s very much worth listening to. If you check his back catalogue and work your way through them, I’m sure you’ll pick up some vey valuable trading information.
